ABC’s John Berman reports from Florida:
When pressed for details about Woods and rehab, Finchem said, “He got out of rehab last week … and he spent some time with his family, and he has time for this tomorrow and he’ll address the details of that tomorrow.”
Finchem said he has spoken to Woods, but would give no further information about the conversation or about what Woods might say tomorrow.
Woods announced on Wednesday that he would break his silence after three months of avoiding the limelight.
"This is all about the next step," Mark Steinberg, his agent, told The Associated Press. "He's looking forward to it."
The golfer plans to speak Friday at 11a.m. from the PGA’s headquarters in Florida where he will apologize publicly for the first time.
