Daily Roundtable: Should She or Shouldn't She?
March 28, 2008 6:46 PM
As the Democratic race drags on, some high-profile supporters are growing restless.
Today, it was Senator Pat Leahy, a Vermont Democrat and Obama supporter, who challenged Clinton.
"There is no way Senator Clinton is going to get enough delegates to win the nomination. She ought to withdraw and she ought to be backing Senator Obama," Leahy declared.
ABC News' Jake Tapper blogs about Leahy's remarks.
Bver at Time Magazine, Mark Halperin and Jay Carney cover Clinton's "in it to win it" strategy.
"But not only does Clinton intend to stay in, she and her advisers are crafting a strategy that they think can swing the nomination her way," Halperin and Carney write.
What do you think? Does Clinton still have a chance at the nomination despite Obama's delegate league? Should the people have their say before the politicians encourage her to drop out? Share your thoughts in our comments section.

She would have to destroy the Democratic Party, and any chances of competing in the General Election if she were to have a hope for a chance to win the nomination. The truth is, the Democratic electoral campaign is not close--it is over! She needs to do the honorable thing, and withdraw with grace, and work to preserve the unity of the party, and its success in the General Election. If she can not make the honorable decision, then steps need to be taken to make the decision for her.

Obama will not have enough elected delegates to win either, why should a worman be forced out? If the situation were reversed all those white male establishment guys would not have the guts to ask him to get out. The fear of a Black Backlash would be so great they would never try to force him out! No one forced Jesse Jackson out! No one is going to force her out either. The more they try to force her out the stronger her support.
Posted by: russell | Mar 28, 2008 7:04:32 PM
No she should not drop out. They equally have a chance to be President. All the voters have not voted ! Some of the super delegates are pressuring her so they won't appear to be racist at the very end if she gets the nomination.

The party cronies are the one's ruining the party. They have picked their candidate, but they can't make me vote for him and I won't.

I said from the on set of this whole mess she will do ANYTHING to win this wait and see>>>>If she can't have it she will spoil it for all the Dem....She is a B----.I can imaging the crafting going on short of Obama getting killed ,it happens to alot of the Clinton people that stand in their way for getting what they want.Has been proven many times..

Hillary: DON'T QUIT! You are our last hope for a reasonable change from what we have now.
Swinging the political pendulum from far right (Bush) to farthest left (Obama) is reactionary and scary. Hillary is a moderate, and there are too few of them remaining in politics.
My wife and I are part of the 28% who will vote for Hillary as our first choice and Old Man McCain if we cannot vote for Hillary.
Posted by: Rhys | Mar 28, 2008 7:18:44 PM
Hillary should not drop out of the race and to suggest so, is just more obamaspeak.
Why should she drop out? Who has proved that obama has the nomination sewed up? Not a shred of proof, just obmamaniacs running scared and attempting to show how they can sway the voters.
I'll never vote for obama - I'll write in Hillary if I have to or vote Republican for John McCain.
Eight more years of Bush would be a comfort rather than one month of the Golden Messiah and his "esteemed" Rev. Wright.
Oh how really patriotic and American: The Reverend Wright posing for pictures with obama in the Oval Office.
I just can't hardly wait - Oh, just noticed, Louis Farrakhan is to the right, The Black Panthers are in the background.
Sure this is exactly what we need in America.
Posted by: Lou | Mar 28, 2008 7:22:32 PM
I am also part of the 28% who will vote for Mr. McCain if Hilliary is forced out of the race.
Why doesn't Obama drop out. The media certainly have given him a free ticket. They gush all over him. Even on "THE VIEW" today calling him 'sexy'.
Posted by: Diane | Mar 28, 2008 7:22:48 PM
Diane... The View? What do you expect?! Barbara Walters WAS a good news person once upon a time, but lost ALL credibility when she became involved with Rosie O'Donnell. The View is a disgusting program on an otherwise pretty good network. The "gushing" over the New Messiah is scary.
Posted by: Rhys | Mar 28, 2008 7:33:57 PM
Hilary should definitely drop out---but we all know she won't. Haven't you people read the delegate count? Even if she won 60% of the vote in all the remaining states (which she has only done in NY and MA), she would still be heind Obama in pledged delegates.
The voice of the people has spoken: it's time for a new kind of politics.
Barack Obama is the kind of leader this
country needs to move us forward...
Watching the debates, there is just no comparison. Obama is like the only reasonable adult in a room full of children...
Wake up America, and vote Obama 2008!

I think Hillary should call it day when Obama is still leading her after the last primary, so in June. If he would, she should and no doubt will backup him and the whole DNC in the fight with McCain and the GOP.
Posted by: Merilyn | Mar 28, 2008 7:39:12 PM
I like the comment that Joe Scarbrough said this morning on "Morning Joe". He said, "You know what, I'm actually rooting for Hillary Clinton. I'm beginning to like her more and more. She is one tough lady, and we did that in a candidate.I'm really liking her!"
Posted by: mary | Mar 28, 2008 7:41:58 PM
How about this for an idea? If Hillary is forced out by the party bosses, maybe John McCain should select Hillary as his V.P. candidate! This might be the only way to keep the farthest-left President in history from becoming reality.
Posted by: Rhys | Mar 28, 2008 7:42:07 PM
No Obama can not gain enough votes either, but it is also clear that Hillary can not catch Obama. She is playing the spoiler, to no gain of herself or the Democratics Party. No matter how she spins it she is trailing, has no hope of catching up, and looks worse against McCain then Obama.
Yes she should.
Posted by: Thinking | Mar 28, 2008 7:46:57 PM
How can a senator, like senator Casey, whom is so Pro-life, and Catholic, endorse a person like Obama, whom has the worse abortion record in the senate. In fact, her tried to overturn the BAIPA bill here in Illinois 3 times. The fourth time, he didn't show up. Thank God.
If Casey was smart he should of waited with his endorsement.
The polls have shown for months, that Hillary is getting 68% of the catholic vote.
Obama will not win because he will not get the majority of the catholic vote (which they are now calling the swing vote), and he will not get the majority of the Jewish vote and the white older women vote.
If he is nominated, all the votes above are votes that McCain will get.
The democratic party is stupid in thinking Obama could win the Presidency...No way with the way the majority of the Hillary and Independent voters feel.

I am a Disney stockholder and I must say I am EXTREMELY disappointed in the one-sided coverage this race is getting. NEWSFLASH ABC NEWS****not everyone worships at the altar of Sen. Obama. How about some equal time for Hilary INSTEAD of the foolishness from this senile old has been from a tiny state like Vermont. Who cares? You think the voters here in Florida that Sen. Obama's campaign have worked so hard to disenfranchise care about what this fossil has to say???? If your news doesn't get any better, stock or no stock I go with another network for my news. You are a HUGE disappointment!

Hillary has the right to continue running in the primary Election.
The people want her to.
The Obamamaniacs who want her to drop have nerve to suggest it.
The media has nerve to keep printing this. Seems they do everything in favor for obama from the beginning.
Over half the democratic party does not want Obama. Probably more if given the opportunity to vote or if their votes were accepted.
A vote Against Obama is a vote for America
Posted by: seah | Mar 28, 2008 7:55:09 PM
Do I think Hillary can win:yes. Hillary cannot do anything right as far as the media is concerned. Yet, she is still winning primaries. She is a fighter and that is what we need as a president. Not an inexperience, smooth talking saleman of vast ambition. There was a quick item online about Obama's Church's magazine and Dr. Wright condemning Israel and saying they were the same as Nazi's. There were quotes from a Hamas leader in this Church's magazine and Dr. Wright agreeing with them. Needless to say, since the media does not give Obama any negative publicity, they were gone very quickly. I guess this all goes along with giving Louis Farrakhan of the Nation of Islam the Dr. Jeremiah Wright Lifetime Achievement Award in December 2007. Farrakhan is a noted Anti-Semite, as well as a bigot and racist. The magazine articles were in 2007 also. The problems with this Church are not just its fiery pastor, but the attitude of the members. No Church hierachy is going to do these things without the approval of the members. Obama was a member and is still a member. His actions speak much louder than his words. I am a second generation Democrat. If Obama gets the nomination of my party, I will not only not vote for him, I will probably change my registration from Democrat to Independent. I think the media is very much responsible for Obama's success because they are afraid to be called racist for questioning him and his issues.

Sen. Leahy as an Obama supporter and others as well would obviously call for Clinton's withdrawal. These people obviously have some personal ambitions of their own rather than the party's and everybody is faking it. It is an election so candidates should run until they have a slightest of hope and especially when it is someone like Clinton (herself). Personally, I cannot confirm on Obama's character or persona because everything seems like being pre-thought and tailored to running as a president. This looks more veiled because of his not- so-long career. One praise I have for HRC is that she has been in the spotlight for so long and been an attack target of republicans for so long and yet she is here and millions of people have voted and trusted her. Obama needs to be put under more scrutiny and therefore she should compete until it ends. I would have blindly supported Obama few months back but between HRC and Obama, now I am going for the clinton. People.. do not fall for a nice cover, make sure you read the content inside!!

HIS RELATIONSHIPV WITH REV. WRIGHT IS DISGUSTING.

If Obama wins I'll vote for McCain, or I'll vote Independent, or I won't vote.
That is a silly argument
Do think that will make differance on how I view it? Some sort of silly blackmail here?
Sounds like schoool children; I am going to take my ball and go home if I don't get my way.

Is it not strange its evident by all counts that Obama will not have the required number of delegates either but yet the cry is for Hillary to drop out.
They are both not reaching their expected targets and her we have some telling one candidate to leave. If Obama was this big hot shot why has he not put her aways as yet? Fact is he cant, he cant win the race but wants to be crowned the winner.
Sorry but it just does not work that way, if he wants it he has to win it that is all, its just as simple as that.

Did you see obama sucking up to the ladies on the View? I wanted to throw up.
Barbara walters go a feeling like Chris walters up and down her legs. If the two of the (Barbara and Obama) got any closer, they would of been stuck together like an oreo cookie.

Obama sucks. Hillary is evil. You're stupid. No you are.
Step back. Look at what's happening here. All reason has been abandoned. Is this the state of public discourse? If so, then it matters not who wins the election for it is fools leading buffons.

Hillary definitely should NOT drop out of this race!!! She is so intelligent, loves and cares about children, cares about our elderly, health care for EVERYONE, the environment, fuel costs, the mortgage crisis, world peace, and the diminishing middle class in our country. I own Disney stock and I am so tired of the BIASED news coverage the mainstream media is giving Hillary. In spite of the mainstream media's constant biased coverage, Hillary continues to win. She is such a strong lady!!! Our country needs you, Hillary!!! Please do not give up on all of us that support you and believe in what you can and will do to make everything better in our country. Hillary is the candidate that CAN win in November in the General Election. I have been a Democrat all of my life. I voted early in the Florida Primary for Hillary and am so sad and disappointed that my vote along with our Florida Delegates are not being counted. I will write in Hillary's name on the November ballot as she is the best candidate to be our next President of the U.S.A. if I have to...she is the only ONE that can beat John McCain in November. It would be so refreshing if ABC News along with all mainstream media would give fair news coverage and let the voters discover what a strong, wonderful, intelligent person Hillary really is and what she CAN do to help our country. NEVER GIVE UP, HILLARY! YOUR SUPPORTERS ARE WITH YOU!!!
Posted by: Susan12 | Mar 28, 2008 8:42:28 PM
I think the decision is up to her whether to stay in or not. Obama will probably win the nomination, and Obama will most likely beat McCain in the general election given the momentum over the last few years in the democrats favor. Obama is way too liberal on spending for my taste, Hillary has too many financial questions from the past and is bought by special interests, and McCain doesn't mind sending troops to their deaths for however long it takes (100 years who knows), maybe into Iran too. My guy Ron Paul has no chance so I guess I will sit and be dissatisfied for the next 4+ years.
Posted by: Ben Straub | Mar 28, 2008 8:43:39 PM
She should for the good of the party. staying in with a slim to no chance of passing him in delagate count does not show strength but selfishness It's time for the dems who will support Obama to start building up the big Mo for November. The SD will have to decide anyway, so I guess she is waiting for them to make their move.
Posted by: merle7 | Mar 28, 2008 8:44:04 PM
I hope Hillary stays in until the Convention. I don't care what Leahy and any Senator has to say. The press and networks and some members of the Democratic party have given Obama a free pass. If Hillary were in a close relationship with an all white church whose minister rants and spews hate for the Country and for different races, they would not have allowed her to run and the blacks would be up in arms against her. Calling her as they do now a bigot. The networks would be investigating and trying to find out more about that relationship. The networks would accuse her of being a turn coat, of hating the Country. Such double standards makes me sick. Hillary is a fighter and I hope she fights on. Obama can smile and tell a lie and people accept it without even thinking. I want someone to investigate and find out if Rev. Wright and the church has contributed money to Hamas or any terrorist group. If we had any news people worth anything, they would be investigating such. Very few news people are concerned about this Country. They seem to only care about doing as little as they can and never can one accuse them of being objective. Women had best take a good notice of what has gone on in this election. I have made up my mind. I will never vote for Obama. No one seems to really know him. And, I sure don't believe him since he changes his stories so much.

One blogger says:
""She is one tough lady, and we did that in a candidate""
WHAT MEANS SHE IS A TOUGH LADY ?? Nobody is menacing nor shooting at her.
To remain in the race sowing division and spending money of donors, is not toughness but OBSTINACY and s sick ambition blinded lack of realism !!
Her desperation and irrationality is escalating. She promptet the 20 donors
which are her followers to write a menacing letter to Pelosi and the reacion was catastrohic.
Immediately 2 very level headed Senators told her harshly to call it quit, and a third Senator, which was
undecided in PENNSYVANIA, also immediately endorsed Obama, cutting even shorter her chances to discount votes and delegates there
HILLARY and the INCAPABLE HOWARD DEAN, who thinks he can hide his responsability for the Primary Chaos behind insults of McCain, are killing the party.
I never have see han 70 years such an
accumulation of tactical and ethical missteps!!!

Im sure a lot of republicans would like to see Hillary stay in the race to give McMore-War some advantage here. Those republicans who say they would rather go against Obama in the fall are flat-out lieing as republicans tend to do. They have no clue how they are going to run against Obama and are scared-to-death to go up against him. Obama 2008 will be GREAT!!!
Posted by: pt | Mar 28, 2008 8:52:26 PM
I know I will never become a Republican but after watching the mistreatment of Hillary by the bias old men of the Democratic party, I will become an Independant. I will write Hillary's name. It won't do any good but I will not be pushed by the media and the Democratic party into voting for someone who I think isn't good for the Country. I won't stay in a party which doesn't allow all people their legal right to vote. What ever crack pot thought up how this primary was to be held, with caucauses, primaries, stupid way of counting the votes should retire. They have hurt the party more than anyone. I think the Supreme Court should step in and refuse to let the Democratic Party prevent Mich. and Florida from voting and make the party pay for a rerun in those states and fine the party for having made such a ruling.
Posted by: Mickey | Mar 28, 2008 8:56:36 PM
If Hillary is forced out, I will cast my final vote as`a Democrat for McCain. I will then change my party affiliation to Independent.

Why should Clinton get out and not Hussein Obama!
Obama does not have enought to get nominated either! It seems that many of the Obama backers are afraid that the remaining states may change the direction. Let's let the people decide.

Pt-Obama can't even win his own democratic party race let alone the general. Furthermore, Obama having already giving up FI and MI to the republicans doesn't show strength to me, so how can any republican feel intimidated by so weak a showing?
Posted by: Dogsoldier | Mar 28, 2008 9:01:27 PM
Hillary told her supporters that if she does not get the nod, her supporters should NOT vote for McCain. She said that her positions are very close to Obama but light-years away from McCains'. Just thought some of you might like to know that.
As for FL & MI, everyone knew the rules and those 2 states screwed up, so let's stop the belly-aching on that. Let's hope they don't screw up again in the Fall. Obama 2008!!

Rules?-What idiot over there in the Obama camp decided that quoting the rules let Obama win is actually giving the republicans FL and MI at their own expense. Yet you got the nerve to claim YOU want a democratic victory. See, it's just this type of garbage why WE are against Obama. Any idiot with a grain of sense don't actively disenfranchise two states and then claim we're for the people.

MI-Student - Hillary should quit so that the party can better prepare for the fall election. She can not catch up on the delegate count.
Also, the sniper-fire comment has really damaged her credibility. It was not only a lie but a bad lie. Even if I thought it was true, was this supposed to make me vote for her. It was also insulting to the troops that are in danger everyday. THAT IS WHY SHE SHOULD DROP OUT....

I’m one of many life long Democrats who will not support the party, nor any of these candidates who come out in support of Sen. Obama. The Democratic party I used to support stood up for women’s rights and against racism and for voters rights. That the DNC has not spoken out against the sexist campaing of Sen. Obama, has not forced Obama to agree to a re-vote in FL and MI so those delegates can be counted, and would consider forcing the nomination of a man who has spent 20 years as a member of a racist, anti-American, and anti-semitic church means that the Democratic Party no longer represents my values. It’s sad, they used to stand for right, now in standing for Wright they are all wrong.
Posted by: Rob_FL | Mar 28, 2008 9:17:25 PM
Sorry Mr. Dodd. After your endorsement with Obama I lost every respect I had for you and most prominent democrats. You are supporting a person thet sat in a church listening to Anti-American, Anti-Jewish, Anti-Italian, anti-everything that is not black or from Africa, and you want a person like that to be a president. You could see the indoctrination thru Michelles words. You are supporting a person that is close with a relative in Kenya (Odinga) that is connected with Jihadis and he is responsible for killing 100’s of Christians. What kind of judgement you saw in this person to lead us forward. It seems your judgement is off too. So do not expect any money from me.

pt-You people care about the troops as much as you care about democratic voters in FL and MI. Nothing.
Posted by: Dogsoldier | Mar 28, 2008 9:18:56 PM
I am a lifelong Democrat who likes to brag that she has never, not once, voted for a Republican. I have supported the DCCC for years, but no more. I find the disrespectful treatment of Hillary Clinton shocking. It is ludicrous to insist that she withdraw. If Obama is in fact the sure winner, what’s the problem? I’ve been reading a lot of “comments” these past two weeks, and the one pattern I’ve observed is that Obama’s supporters are vicious in their ad hominem attacks on Hillary Clinton.
I supported McGovern in 1972, and Bobby Kennedy in 1968. Remind me again who won the presidency in those years. The left seems to have a death wish. To have prominent Democrats attack President Clinton and Senator Clinton with the insane suggestion that they are ruining the Democratic party makes me think I’m in some strange time warp where everything we know is turned upside down. The Republicans treated post-Watergate Richard Nixon better than we are currently treating Bill and Hillary Clinton.
And this is how Chris Dodd and Nancy Pelosi think we can get to victory in November? Maybe “think” isn’t the right verb.
Fortunately, Hillary Clinton is one tough customer. She won’t cave in the face of this bullying assault. She’s been through the fire once or twice before. Hillary Clinton will be a splendid president. If we place principles over personalities, I think reasonable people must conclude that she has the wisdom, strength, brains, and practical experience to deliver a progressive agenda.
Posted by: NancyJC | Mar 28, 2008 9:19:10 PM
Wow! After reading the last 30 plus comments all supporting Hillary and Democracy I want to stand up and applaud. Thank you sane people of the US! I thought I was the only one getting furious and disgusted with the DCC and the good old boy network.
You guys have mistreated one of our best democratic presidents ever - Bill Clinton (who still enjoys a huge following BTW), and one of our most hardworking, experienced, qualified and loyal democrats - senator Hillary Clinton.
The DCC has not spoken out in outrage against any of the thousands of sexist assaults Obama supporters and the sycophantic media have leveled on Hillary Clinton.
Mr. Obama is under qualified, racist, sexist, and demeans the American public and the American voter .. and yet you are all trying to cram him down our throats...why?
I will not send one thin dime to DCC - you are all trying to take away our right to have every voter counted, which seriously impedes democracy.
I may be old fashioned but I love our country, our political system, and our freedom to vote.
The ones ripping apart the Democratic Party and the ones corroding the presidential race we had in the bag when Hillary first announced her candidacy - are the DNC, and Obama.
Good old boys trying once again (where’s the change?) to bully a mature, brilliant, well-educated and vastly experienced, hardworking loyal Democratic senator to quit so that a younger, under qualified, inexperienced man can win the nomination - and ruin our chances to see a Democratic in the White House in November
the letters from the Clinton donors were asking that Pelosi and her posse wise up and stop trying to bully Hillary into quitting by strong arming delegates to support Obama. Pelosi and Dean want a dictatorship not a democracy.
Richardson and Pelosi are hypocrites - Hillary won both New Mexico and California and yet against their own “philosophies” they support Obama - but want everyone else to do their bidding.
re-do the Florida and Michigan primaries, let super delegates make up their own minds and let’s meet at the convention - that in no way hurts the party only makes it stronger. Trying to circumvent the rules, bullying the best and only electable Democratic candidate and disenfranchising 4+ million voters is not what the DCC should be all about. It’s not what America is all about. It’s certainly not what I am all about.
My money, my support and my allegiance go to Hillary.
Let the games continue and the may best the candidate win.

Posted by: Dogsoldier | Mar 28, 2008 9:22:40 PM
Dogsoldier .. this disenfranchise argument is GARBAGE. If I lived in FL or MI I would not vote for McCain in the fall just because some idiots from my state decided to move the primary, which they knew was against the RULES. I give FL & MI voters a little more credit. They would not want to prolong the bush/cheney policies just because a few idiots screwed up their state primary. (Then again this country did elect the bush-league twice, so I could be wrong here.) Here's hoping some people have grown a little wiser over time.

Yes she will destroy the party and in it's wake and her march on the republicans will take down the weak team she has left.
They are hypocrites...look at 92 ...if tsongas or kerrey stayed in and played through Bill Clintons scandals and fought on throwing the "kitchen sink"...
Bill Clinton would have never been President.
The Clintons care about... ...the Clintons. I think they only had Chelsea to say they had a child...for she comes third in that household...no question...how could anyone argue differently.

Has anybody seen the latest poll showing Clinton still ahead by nearly 5 points nationwide?
Also, it looks like many Hillary supporters will flock to McCain if Hussein is the nominee!
Take the poll yourself:

They used the democratic party foer their own office and legacy and that has come incredibly clear in this primary.
...and I am a reasonable guy... who use to be a volunteer for her...ugh...how could I have ever been so stupid.
It is sad to watch everyone else who can't get out of their scam.

OBAMA AT IT AGAIN; FALSE ADVERTISING IN PENNSYLVANIA: From NBC/NJ's Aswini Anburajan
GREENBURG, Pa. -- The Clinton campaign today accused the Obama campaign of "false advertising," claiming that a recent ad Obama released in Pennsylvania was disngenous because Obama has been the recipient of more than $200,000 from the oil and gas industry.
In the ad, Obama says, "I'm Barack Obama, and I don't take money from oil companies or lobbyists, and I won't let them block change any more."
Obama has taken $213,884 from the oil and gas industry as of Feb. 29th, according to the Center for Responsive Politics. Sen. Hillary Clinton has taken $306,813 in that same period.
Two of Obama's campaign bundlers are also CEOs for oil and gas companies, per a list released on his campaign Web site.
Robert Cavnar, listed as a bundler who has raised between $50,000 to $100,000 for the campaign, is the chairman and CEO of Mission Resources Corp., a Houston-based firm. George Kaiser, also listed in the same $50,000 to $100,000 category, is the CEO of Tulsa-based Kaiser-Francis Oil Company.
"It's unfortunate that Senator Obama is using false advertising to explain why he can be trusted to do something about energy prices," Clinton spokesman Phil Singer said. "Senator Obama says he doesn't take campaign contributions from oil companies but the reality is that Exxon, Shell, and others are among his donors."

DL-Kitchen sink? Such a small sink, don't you think? If Obama is whining now then just wait until the republican start throwing larger objects.

is very interesting to note the male testosterone chant to remove Senator Hillary Clinton! However, Pelosi, of all people should know the role of the Superdelgates. The purpose of the Superdelegates is to add rational thought to the Democratic primary election process. The fact that Obama is attempting to circumvent the voter's choice for Hillary Clinton with preventing the count of Michigan and Florida votes, emphasizes the importance of Superdelegates in this campaign. However, many states are in the same position as Massachusetts where Senator Hillary Clinton won the state, although Senators Kennedy and Kerry campaigned hard for Obama. There will be more than tea in the Boston Harbor if the Massachusetts those two Superdelegates support Obama who was clearly not the choice of Massachusetts voters. It begs the question if the Democratic Party can afford to lose the Presidential election and the respect of the American people due to Obama's campaign effort to win at all costs.

all notable polls (Gallup, Pew, etc) have Barack ahead by 8 or 10... so whatever your "she's ahead by 5" is...
Is spin from her minions. ...and those who are stillthere are just sad...and unless she can continue down her tragic and sad self absorbed road...and take down the party as a whole (and yes therefore the country with her) ... either way actually ...she loses...to Obama...or McCain.
No one with that consistently high (and dropping) of negatives could ever win the presidency.

The game is in the fourth-quarter. Obama is leading Clinton by 24 points. Hillary fumbles the ball (sniper-fire lie) and Barack scores again. buzzzzz 2-minute warning just went off. Hillary can not score 32 point in 2 minutes. Obama 2008!! Obama and McCain will going to the Super-Bowl.

dl-If you believe polls then the same polls show McCain kicking Obama's butt. Hillary's as well. So, you lose and we lose. What's your point?

DONT QUIT HILLIRY OBAMS KNEW !!
chapter 14 page 293 he talks about setting in church and listing to write preach about "Hiroshima' hm sounds familiar and also talks about how he agreed with the church creed page 284, I think he is still not being honest. I have the book and read it myself. Dreams from my father

pt-Then us Hillary supporters go with McCain. Then we're ahead in the polls. So, who's ahead of the next state poll in PA?

Obama loved his Preacher and Knew him Well Chicago Tribune
http://www. chicagotribune. com/news/custom/religion/profiles/chi-070121-relig_wright,0,5184608. story?page=1&coll=chi_news_custom_religion_promo
Obama says that rather than advising him on strategy, Wright helps keep his priorities straight and his moral compass calibrated.
"What I value most about Pastor Wright is not his day-to-day political advice," Obama said. "He’s much more of a sounding board for me to make sure that I am speaking as truthfully about what I believe as possible and that I’m not losing myself in some of the hype and hoopla and stress that’s involved in national politics
In his 1993 memoir "Dreams from My Father," Obama recounts in vivid detail his first meeting with Wright in 1985. The pastor warned the community activist that getting involved with Trinity might turn off other black clergy because of the church’s radical reputation.

Obama wants Hillary to drop out because he knows a big blow out in Pennsylvania is coming that will embarrass him.

Dogsoldier, Hillary told her supporters not to vote for McCain if she doesn't get the nod. Come-on pay attention. Don't you want to do what Hillary says?
Posted by: pt | Mar 28, 2008 9:41:30 PM
PA is going to be much closer than people think. Bob Casey's endorsement is going to carry a lot a weight with the PA voters. Hillary may still win the state, but not by as much as she had hoped. After that she needs to drop out. Obama 2008!
Posted by: pt | Mar 28, 2008 9:43:56 PM
that is a small sink...even if half of it is spin and made up...
the kitchen sinks (yes that is plural) that Hill and Bill have coming would make this pale in comparison...but dogsoldier the problem is you all think all the sinks the Clintons have were all a fairy tale that have been vetted they haven't and luckily the Obama campaign (as much as the Clinton suporters think they haven't) has really taken a higher road and not gone there...or a right wing conspiracy that no one can talk about right?
or the republicans put so much money forward they didn't find anything right?
Wrong... ...and the dirty little secret is that it's not that the press loves Obama and is fawning they know that those issues with the Clintons have not been vetted... but they wait for the other team or fox to bring them up...
Fox is still too busy fighting who they think is going to be the nominee... if Clinton owon the nom ...(maybe if Obama killed somebody or something at this point)...Fox would be like a movie where they slowly turn like a pack of wolves salvating if Sen. Clinton were the nominee... she's covered in unanswered scandals or lawsuits or disbarment or suicides of witnesses...or pardons by brothers or using there power and corporate money to influence (thank you Robert L. Johnson)
Yeah Obama's was a little kitchen sink...only Hillary is psychotic in her quest and tries to use beat him to death with it... and when she can't she takes a break and hands it to Bill.
Posted by: dl | Mar 28, 2008 9:44:56 PM
the polls do show Mccain up by a couple against Obama (Hill by 4-5) and that is with him still coming out of kitchen sink land.
that will change once this part is done.

Looks like Howard Dean is about to do to the Democratic party the same thing he did to his own campaign, make it a loser! Who's idea was it to give this whopin and hollerin nut the control of this party? What's the deal the Democratic party is now putting itself in a position of being anti-democratic by stopping people from voting and not counting the votes of others. What's their argument that we can't stand anymore democracy! That someone other than NH and IO should not have a say in who they want! Well too many young men and women have died in Iraq for our right to vote and nobody not even a Senator from a socialist state like Vermont is going to take that away from us! If they take our right to vote for Hillary now then we have the right to vote for McCain in November! Count every vote and let every vote be counted! This ain't the U.S.S.R. this is the U.S.A.!!
Posted by: Russell | Mar 28, 2008 9:53:22 PM
Hillary should not drop out. Why would she? She deserves to win Florida. A revote should take place in Michign. I live in the United states of America. ALL states are supposed to vote. I live in Florida in the U.S.A. I could only vote on the day we were told to vote. We weren't given an option. Next time these baboons that are running things or a new bunch of baboons will make up rules to just outright pick who they want to. That's what their doing now. Hillary would be winning now otherwise. She will take PA. also. Unless the DNC finds a way to prevent it. I am more than fed up with the media as well as you guys. I have never witnessed a greater lynching.
IBy the way I will be voting (if I get a vote in Fl for John McCain if Hillary is cheated out of this too!!! Florida has been cheated and so has Michigan. Funny thing is our government thinks other countries should have democratic elections. What a laugh. For those Obama voters that say we were told if we voted early it wouldn't count, if the voting day comes up and you don't vote when your state tells you to vote it won't count anyway. I thought they were going to resolve this but then their boy would lose. The DNC seems to clearly prefer Obama or they would correct this and revote or give Hillaruy Florida and let Michigan give a voters an opportunity to have their say. I'm sick of the democratic party at this point. Obama is a disgrace to even think he might be our President makes me ill!!! He's a liar. Wright is his mentor and he praises him in his book and every chance he gets. God please bless America and let this great country stand proud again.
