Britain’s Oldest Criminal Caught Again
August 13, 2008 1:08 PM

Richard Blaylock has been burgling houses all his life -- and at the age of 76, he still hasn’t learned his lesson.
According to The Times of London, Blaylock has spent more than 42 years in prison and began his criminal career at just age 11, in 1943.
The 76-year-old grandfather was given a 90-day sentence after police found him carrying a crowbar, two screwdrivers and various other tools. On Tuesday he admitted that he had been equipped for burglary, although he denied that he was going to burgle a house.
It is reported that Blaylock was stopped by police and asked about the crowbar. He replied "What crowbar?" and later attempted to walk off.
The judge in Blaylock’s case, Gerald Chalk, described him as an "historic professional burglar."
“He is a thieving old b****r,” said one of Blaylock’s neighbors, according to the Daily Mail, a U.K. newspaper.

He is an example of a criminal mutant that should have been executed long ago. Sure hope he did not father any children.
