Former Mr. Gay U.K. Eats Boyfriend
October 20, 2008 11:44 AM
BY PHILIP VICTOR, ABC News London
In a world of bizarre stories, here’s one chilling case of a gruesome murder and an act of cannibalism.
A U.K. chef found guilty of brutally stabbing and murdering his former lover and frying up pieces of the man’s flesh will spend at least 30 years behind bars. Anthony Morley, 36, a former Mr. Gay U.K., claims that Damien Oldfield, 33, tried to rape him at his home and that the killing was done in self-defense.
According to the U.K. Sun, police found six lightly fried pieces of Oldfield’s leg mixed with herbs on a chopping board in Morley’s kitchen. A seventh piece, which Morley chewed, was discovered in a trash bag.
The U.K. Times reported “Morley was arrested after he walked into a takeaway restaurant near his home in Leeds wearing a bloodstained dressing gown and flip-flops and told staff there that he had killed someone who had tried to rape him.”
The couple had exchanged text messages in which Morley expressed that he hoped to revive their broken relationship, but that he wanted to take things slow.
The two men met in Leeds on the day of the murder and later went to Morley’s house where they went to bed after drinking. “Mr. Oldfield had assured him nothing would happen between them. But he said that he awoke to find the other man performing a sex act on him,” the Times reported.
Morley told Leeds Crown Court that he was sexually confused and that he killed Oldfield over a “feeling of betrayal” over the attempted rape attempt, the Sun reported.
Sky News reported that during the sentencing, Judge James Stewart QC called Morley "cold-blooded" and "a savage executor." The judge said that it was “one of those most gruesome murders” he had ever encountered. "You have plumbed depths rarely encountered in our court," the judge said.
Morley, who denied the murder charges citing self-defense, told the court: “At some point Damian’s body had just become something I would deal with at work…a piece of meat. That’s the only thing I can think of. That was my daily task, preparing meat.”

Doesn't say whether after lightly frying, Mr. Morley wicked away the excess oil on newspaper, paper towels, or a cooling rack. Was he happy with the crust?

But the REALLY important question simply is not addressed in this article--what were the exact herbs used by Morley in his dish? And in what proportions?! This is a perfect example of cooking with a human touch....

Since there was a partially chewed piece in the trash, is it safe to say Morley didn't like his own cooking?

People who make jokes about this are so insensitive and callous it's sickening. The victim had friends and family who loved him. How would you feel if your loved one was killed and people laughed about it.

He's only getting 30 years?

well, there doesn't seem to be much to say about this, other than " You must give me the recipe! "

I for one am glad to hear this kind of stuff happening between queers! More of this kind of behavior is totally acceptable in my eyes, the less queers the better. lol

Sounds like a recent case in Houston - some guy killed his girlfriend, cut her up and cooked the parts on his grill outside.
Some people are just plain sick.

Does anyone know - was he using Drakes or a cornmeal batter?

Maybe it was Old Boy seasoning.....

Please tell me this is not going to be an "Iron Chef" secret ingredient

i wonder what his opinions are on preparing, cooking and seasoning a person. as a professional chef, and something of a pioneer in people cuisine, it seems likely he would have done some experimentation to get everything just right.

Gay men eat their lovers meat all the time!! What's so different about this one?!? I wonder if he beat it, before he ate it?!?!

There was a similar case out of Germany where the guy who did the eating said there was an agreement between him and his victim. In the end, the "eater" was convicted. As for the guy who cut up his GF and placed her pieces on a grill, it wasn't for the purpose of consumption. He was looking for a way to do away with her remains. We don't need anymore evidence that this world is rapidly sliding down hill. Everyday it's going faster.

He probably would have ate it if he would have marinated it for 3 hours in vinegar with some peppers.
ex lovee' in marinade eswash:
7 pieces ex lover's leg cut in 2" pieces
1 cup of vinegar
3 jalepenos cut in shredded pieces
1 cup cauliflower florets
1 pinch of BAM
marinate in fridge 3 hours. fry in olive oil and eat with a cup of red wine chardonnay. mmmmm its delicious
*this recipe is intened for personal use commercial use must recieve permission.**

You people are sick. This guy needs to be locked up in a asylum with less conveniences than prison, and never let out. In fact he should be put into solitude where he can think and unconfuse himself.

if only women knew this was the solution for "attempted rape".... the world would a much less populated place.
And to Mike... if this guy DID run for president and the media wanted him to win they would have 55 percent of the American people convinced that he was the messiah and eating other gay people was a perfectly reasonable thing to do.

If he thought he didn't like being raped before, he's in for a surprise. Maybe he will "meat" someone new in prison.

Well, I know for a fact that America hates Christians more than canibalistic gays.
