It never ceases to amaze me that people can, well I assume they are people, condemn Israel for killing Palestinian citizens through collateral damage in retaliation against hard targets when Palestinian citizens have, for years, failed to condemn the killing of Israeli citizens with cowardly rocket attacks targeted at Israeli citizens by sitting by and allowing them to be launched from within Palestine. Israel is even calling in their strikes to give people, too stupid or arrogant to leave, time to vacate. When a people can send their sons against citizens as human bombs I stop feeling any compassion for their cause. They have lost their humanity in my eyes. You reap what you sow.

The government of Israel is still acting as victims of the holocaust. The act of a surviving people has now become a people that mimic the horrors that were perpetrated against them. They are now no better then the nazi germans who followed Hitler. They seem fear driven with there walled settlements and the evidence of keeping the Palestinian people down beneath them, not allowing them to be treated as equals. US support of Israel is shameful. We have supplied Israel with the weapons and the means to keep down the Palestinian people. Would our own Jewish people support Israel? Is this really God's plan? Terrorism vs peace and compassion. I want no part of that God.

The Arabs need to overthrow these dictatorships that pretend to care for the Palestinians. They then need to use oil as a bargaining chip to force the US to be more equitable on the Israeli-Palestinian issue. Israel continues to land grab and build settlements while forcing the Palestinians to exist on shrinking amounts of land. To me this is the real pressing issue and quite frankly an act of terrorism. The world is beginning to see this quite clearly. I myself used to bye all of the Israeli lobby talking points which are pretty much lockstep with the neoconservative movement. No longer....

Prediction...After Israel eliminates Hamas from their back yard they will bomb Iran's nuclear facilities. Iran will sink a few oil tankers; kill servicemen in Iraq and bomb Israel and Jordon. US will be forced into another major war with Iran to defend the above. Oil will skyrocket; US will sink into another great depression. This ball starts rolling before the inauguration. Be ready!

I cannot understand how the western media continues to portray Israel as only 'defending itself' against agression, when in reality the obscene number of casualties rest on the palestinian side. We can all see the numbers spear for themselves. When will people stand up to Israeli monstrosities and show them how ugly they have become?
They started the nation of Israel on the basis of peace and providing a homeland for the Jewish people. If only their forefathers could see them now. They would be so ashamed and disturbed.

To all the people who sleep safely in their beds at night and have the audacity to criticize the Israeli government, this is for you:
None of you spoke in the past 8 years when rockets and bombs fell in southern Israeli cities, causing death and destruction without any provocation on our part.
What you need to understand are two things-
First of all, there is no functioning government in Gaza. The Hamas took over (in a military coup!) and they are running the show. The Hamas, in case you didn't know, is a terror organization. Just like Al-kaida and Hezbollah. Israel is dealing with terror organizations all through its borders. Not with governments. And not with civilians. We have nothing against the Palestinians. Only the terrorists.
The second thing you need to know is that the Hamas is a very cynical organization which uses innocent women and children to fight Israel. They launch their missals from civilian's houses, not from open fields or military camps, and when the Israeli army wants to destroy those missals launchers- sometimes innocent people die.
They stash weapons; bombs etc. in hospitals, mosques, civil houses and schools exactly for this reason- they know that the Israeli army will not bomb those places. Over the years, they have dig tunnels between Egypt and Gaza to smuggle everything, including weapons which is being used against us.
The Israeli army has such advanced technologies they can surgically hit those places. And that is exactly what we are doing. The manipulations in the media, done by the Arabs are ridicules, at best.
Ask yourself- what would you do if your life was constantly under threat? Look at the map. Maybe that will help you grasp our geographic situation.
The purpose of the Israeli army is to defend. Not attack.
So next time you think about how miserable and poor the Palestinians are, and how powerful and evil the Israelis are- think again. Israel has left Gaza more than 3 years ago- their chaos and fights among themselves are not our responsibility.

Does anyone ever stop and ask themselves why so many people hate Jews so much?? Maybe the Jewish people need to take a good hard look at themselves and figure out what they've been doing wrong. Nobody risks their lives just because someone is a different religion; Muslims and Christians live peacefully side by side in many Arab countries without a problem. So what is it with Jewish people???? Example: I had a college roommate who was Orthodox Jewish and I got along with her great until she turned out to be one of the nastiest people I have ever met... not a good impression to make!

that he should free a believing slave and pay compensation to the
deceased's family, unless they remit it freely. If the deceased belonged to
a people at war with you and he was a believer, the freeing of a
believing slave (is enough). If he belonged to a people with whom ye have a
treaty of mutual alliance, compensation should be paid to his family
and a believing slave be freed. For those who find this beyond their
means (is prescribed) a fast for two months running: by way of repentance
to Allah: for Allah hath all knowledge and all wisdom. (4:92)

If a man kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell to
abide therein (for ever): and the wrath and the curse of Allah are upon him
and a dreadful penalty is prepared for him. (4:93)

For that cause We decreed for the Children of Israel that whosoever
killeth a human being for other than manslaughter or corruption in the
earth, it shall be as if be had
killed all mankind, and whoso saveth the life of one, it shall be as if
he had saved the life of all mankind. Our messengers came unto them of
old with clear proofs (of Allah's sovereignty), but afterwards lo!
many of them became prodigals in the earth. (5:32)

They are losers who besottedly have slain their children without
knowledge, and have forbidden that which Allah bestowed upon them, inventing
a lie against Allah. They indeed have gone astray and are not guided.

Say: "Come I will rehearse what Allah hath (really) prohibited you
from": join not anything as equal with Him; be good to your parents: kill
not your children on a plea of want; We provide sustenance for you and
for them; come not nigh to shameful deeds whether open or secret; take
not life which Allah hath made sacred except by way of justice and law:
thus doth He command you that ye may learn wisdom. (6:151)

O Prophet! when believing women come to thee to take the oath of fealty
to thee that they will not associate in worship any other thing
whatever with Allah, that they will not steal, that they will not commit
adultery (or fornication), that they will not kill their children, that
they will not utter slander intentionally forging falsehood, and that they
will not disobey thee in any just matter then do thou receive their
fealty and pray to Allah for the forgiveness (of their sins): for Allah
is Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful. (60:12)

Kill not your children for fear of want: We shall provide sustenance
for them as well as for you: verily the killing of them is a great sin.
(17:31)

And slay not the life which Allah hath forbidden save with right. Whoso
is slain wrongfully, We have given power unto his heir, but let him
not commit excess in slaying. Lo! he will be helped. (17:33)

And those who cry not unto any other god along with Allah, nor take the
life which Allah hath forbidden save in (course of) justice, nor
commit adultery and whoso doeth this shall pay the penalty; (25:68)

What a bunch of empty rhetoric that is. Palestine has been used by every Arab nation in the middle east for decades. They serve one main function. They keep pressure on Israel. A constant source of friction and strife. The Arab nations don't want a solution to the Palestine problem. Jordan could open up a section of western Jordan where there are tens of thousands of Palestinians right now. But they don't want a solution. Endless strife to keep Israel beaten down. They don't even know why they hate the Jews like they do. It's supernatural in nature passed from father to son, the original reasons totally forgotten. "We will avenge you". The scriptures say that the God of all creation brought destruction and desolation upon Israel for a reason: They were chosen to be a holy people, blessed for their obedience and cursed for their rebellion. They were meant to be an example to the world, and a warning as well. The rest of the story hasn't played out yet. According to the scriptures, God still has a point to make with the rest of the earth. Everyone loves the idea of a Good and loving God, but we generally aren't too thrilled with the idea of a God who is Just and Holy. A Just and Holy God will not allow the world to go on the way it is, because people are not good. Even those people who have posted here about their desire for peace are quite willing to allow one side or the other side of this conflict to be annihlated, as long as it doesn't impact their own lives. If we all got what we deserved for our own actions, thoughts, and words, not one of us would be left standing.
